Martha Hunter is both the wife of Ian Hunter and mother of Cara Diana Hunter. Her own mother, Ivy Morris, took Cara to save her from the Hunters, but never eplained why. Due to this, she has strained relations with her. Up until the point where Ian rescued her from the Rainbow Prison, she was trapped in an alternate dimension.
